The Friends of the Flitch Way

Registered Charity No: 1115617 

The Friends group was set up initially in August 2004

to assist the Flitch Way Rangers with their projects and

maintenance in the Country Park.

Since September 2005 we have formed a committee,

written our own constitution and become a charitable

organisation.

Following the refurbishment of Takeley Station volunteers spent five weeks clearing the platform of vegetation and litter.

Our aim is to bring together local, like-minded people

with an interest in the outdoors, being active and with

conservation interests who want to improve the parks,

woodlands and wildlife in their community for the

benefit of everyone.
